BIKES

On this tour, a rental bike and fuel are included. We have KTM, GASGAS and Husqvarna 2- and 4-stroke models available. All bikes are the latest models, professionally serviced, and in excellent condition. The bikes come with tires in good condition suitable for the ride with mousses and are equipped with closed rally guards, motor skid plate, and fan.

DIFFICULTY LEVEL

This tour is made for advanced riders what does not mean that our tour guides do not have tracks for less experienced riders at hand. They ensure that your riding level is accommodated during the rides - the difficulty can be easy o medium+.

Beginners and less-capable riders have the option to shorten the distances of the stages, and to opt for small parts on desert roads. We have different routes in place for less experienced and extreme riders. Your physical fitness should be good as we can face high temperatures even in winter.

Riders who are less experienced in the sand will be introduced step by step to riding in the sand and dunes by our tour guides.

ACCOMMODATION

One of the highlights of this tour are the four nights spent in tents in the middle of the Sahara. We sit by the open fire and watch our Tunisian guide prepare a typical local meal and talk about Enduro. Be inspired by the incredible silence of the Sahara. You will have the desire to come back soon.

WHY WE LIKE THIS TOUR

This tour is exactly the dune bashing experience you are looking for as advanced Enduro rider. You will ride straight into the dunes and bashing them during five full days until you fall off the bike or you run out of fuel. The only limit is your gas tank.

The tour will occur in stages day-to-day, meaning we will spend nights in a typical local hotel or in an authentic comfortable desert camp. Dining on handmade food cooked by locals and nomads from the region prepared in front of us on the open fire in the desert.

Once we are deep into the Sahara, we will officially be "off the grid" - outside the range of any mobile network and away from civilization, leaving us to manage on our own. We'll spend three days in the desert forgetting all things we think that are important and we may not miss, like Facebook and Instagram, E-mails and calls. During this time we'll have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience being virtually alone among the dunes of the Sahara, at peace and removed from the modern world. 

ARRIVAL, DEPARTURE and TRANSPORTATION

Airport of arrival and departure is the international airport of Djerba. You will be picked up at the gate, shuttled to the first hotel in Douz and back on the departure day.
